Keen to boost his flagging career, fading Hollywood action hero, Jefferson Steel, arrives in England to play King Lear. He believes he’s landed a prestigious gig with the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Instead, he finds himself in the sleepy village of Stratford-St-John, with a local amateur dramatic society trying to save its theatre. Acting worlds collide as Jefferson discovers truths about himself… along with his inner Lear!
