Choir will start again on Wednesday 7 Nov. (7pm in the church as usual). This will be another 6 week block at £24 for the six sessions. For information please contact Fiona Gibson at [email protected]
Dates for the diary:
Friday 30 November The Choir will sing Carols at for the Lighting of the Village Christmas Tree in Honeybourne, on Elm Green, Bretforton Road, Honeybourne, as last year Starting at 6.30pm
There is a sponsorship form in the Bretforton Community Shop if anyone would like to sponsor a light in memory of a loved one.
There are also two Carol-singing events being planned involving our choir, one around the village in Bretforton and one probably separately at The Fleece. More information in due course.
A date to enjoy listening rather than singing!
Monday 10 December - Avon Singers in conjunction with the Evesham Abbey Trust are putting on a concert at St Peters Church Bengeworth. Paulette (our wonderful accompanist!) has contacted me so I can let you know about this event. She says it’s a beautiful church with magnificent acoustics which should show off their lovely programme of some lesser known Christmas songs as well as the usual favourites.
It should be a lovely night with a glass of wine and a mince pie. Please let me, Fiona or Paulette know if you would like tickets (£10).

bretforton choir - all welcome!
Choir Leader Elizabeth Kyberd says: "The choir is always looking for new members. No experience is necessary, there are no entry requirements, just come along and try us out. So anyone in the village who secretly wants to get out there and sing, however diffident they feel about their voice, you will be very welcome."
